Best Finds: Macy’s Edition

Disclaimer* Not all Macy’s are created equal. I went to White a Marsh Mall near me which is like Walmart (exaggeration) compared to some other Macy’s like the Pentagon City Fashion Center (my fav).                                                                I really liked the Blu in this top. It really popped.

I thought these were cute for fall.

I was in complete LUST with this dress!!! They had it in diff patterns but this was my fav variation. The others were more summerish and you can get more wear out of it. Looks like it only goes to a size 14 which was too small for me (it’s really slim fitting). So since I couldn’t have it, someone else I knew had to have it!!! I bought it for my mom!!! It was on sale for 50% off and I used a coupon.  She wants me to find shoes and accessories to go with it now lol.

Then there’s this super cute Jessica Simpson dress. The 2x was too big on me and it’s def made for someone with a smaller chest. I love te price! Great for the few summer events that we have left before fall fashion takes over!!!
I can’t leave the fellas out! I thought this was perfect for the upcoming Raven’s football season!!!!
And last but certainly not least, in the spirit of back to school- I’ll leave you with my boo Michael Kors. Love the jewel tones!!! I just wonder how hard it is to keep clean…..
   Until next time!

OOTD: BCBG Edition

Skirt by BCBG from discount store in Jacksonville Florida, top Target, shoes $14.99 Kenneth Cole Reaction clearance from Macy’s, Kasper jacket was apart of pantsuit from Marshall’s, Necklace from K&G, bracelet and earrings from Laila Rowe. The skirt is actually a size L. That’s why I think it was on clearance because it was sizes wrong. The waist is really big and even I have to pull it up sometimes because it slides down!!!! Hope you like!

It’s Count Your Blessings Friday!! OOTD

Today was quite a day! I started off my Friday by being the last person hit in a 5 car accident. The Lord was with me because I was not hurt and my car didn’t sustain any damage. I saw the car coming through my rear view and was able up brace myself and immediately slam on my breaks so that I didn’t hit the car in front of me. After I was given the ok by the police officer, I continued on my way to work. I had my mid year review and it went very well.i got some excellent feedback from my locations and it’s always a blessing to know that your hard work is being recognized. I later went with some coworkers during lunch to celebrate one of my fav coworkers 30th yr anniversary of being a federal employee. I love her because she’s a spit-fire!!! She’s Italian, in her early 50’s, is curvy, and she dresses her tail off!!! She speaks her mind so you’ll always be in for a good laugh!!! Italians remind me of Jamaicans…. very passionate and expressive about their feelings. *************************************************On to what I wore. I had on a scoop neck top from Old Navy, a plus size Calvin Klein jacket that I got from My fav Macy’s in Pentagon City Fashion Center for $11 years ago, torrid jeans, and shoes from Marshall’s. I wore my half wig with my leave out side parted. My flower represents my longing for warmer weather! Earrings from Aldos!!! Enjoy!!
